Our youth program began in 2007 as a pilot project through an Ontario Trillium Grant. Since that time the program has continued to expand and flourish. Thanks to many of our funders including our long time funder The United Way of KFL&A, we are able to offer programs that allow youth the ability to be physically healthy, enjoy cooking/food programs and offer leadership opportunities to build self -esteem and social connections with peers. Our program is set up so that all youth have an ability to grow into teens that are healthy, successful and engaged through a supportive setting. We also engage youth by removing barriers such as prohibitive fee costs and transportation.
