The Steps of Success Leadership Program is funded through The United Way of KFL&A. There are many different ways to be a leader. We offer informal opportunities through our Kids Club and more defined programs for young teens.

Home Alone Course

A two hour program for 10 year olds and up. Learn skills to stay home alone. Manual included.

Babysitter's Course

A seven hour program for youth age 11 and up. Learn skills to care for young children. Manual included.

Leader in Training Course

This program is a Leader In Training Course for youth entering grades 9 and up. This program is geared towards fostering leadership styles and personal skills. Upon completion of this course you will receive 7 hours towards your high school community hours.

Youth Volunteer Opportunities

Rural Frontenac Community Services in partnership with the community, has many opportunities for youth to become involved, give back to their community and complete their high school hours. The youth staff will provide assistance in achieving volunteer hours.
